Analysis:
Hoppipola by Sigur Ros demonstrates the necessity of analysis for comprehension of the musical language. In this clip there are elements and concepts that can be communicated by spoken word AND elements and concepts that can only be communicated with the language of music itself.
This was the new song from Switchfoot that I played before the lecture. It has hints of a new aggressive sound that is rumoured to be on the new album called Vice Verses.
